The Board does not pre-approve specific courses.  Each engineer must determine whether an activity meets the Board's requirements.

The Board does not pre-approve course sponsors.
Online Courses
Online courses are accepted.

There is no limit on the number of hours that can be earned through online continuing education.

PDH Credit Requirement
30 PDH biennially
Renewal Dates
January 1 of even-numbered years for licensees whose last name begins with one of the letters A through K.

January 1 of odd-numbered years for licensees whose last name begins with one of the letters L through Z.
PDH Carryover
A maximum of 15 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period.
Record Keeping
The responsibility of maintaining records to be used to support credits claimed is the sole responsibility of the licensee.

The records must be maintained for a period of three years.
Exemptions
Exemption from the PDH requirements include new licensees for their first renewal period, active military duty, retired status, or disability, illness, or other extenuating circumstance.  Please refer to the state board's website for specific requirements and time periods allowed.
