Course Content
No specific guidance or restrictions on course
content are provided by the Board.
Accepted activities include (a) completing college or university courses,
(b) completing courses awarding CEU credits, (c) attending
seminars, classes, or technical presentations, (d) teaching courses, seminars, or technical
presentations, or (e) publishing papers, articles, or books. See board website for more specific information.
Course Approval
The Board does not pre-approve specific courses. Each engineer must determine whether an activity
meets the Board's requirements.
Sponsor Approval
The Board does not pre-approve course sponsors.

June 30 every year for all engineers

A maximum of 8 PDH may be carried forward
into the next renewal period.

The responsibility of maintaining records
to be used to support credits claimed is the
responsibility of the registrant.
The records must be maintained for a period of three (3) renewal periods.

Exemption from the PDH requirements include new registrant for first renewal period, active military duty,
retired status, or disability, illness or other extenuation
circumstance. Please
refer to the state board's website for specific requirements and time periods allowed.
